Thank you for your review and review write up!! Have you visited the St. Regis Maldives. If so, how would you compare it? I'm booked at both currently in a few months and feel torn. SR is further away, slightly higher cost, larger over the water villas vt 400 sq ft, better amenities for elites (e.g. free breakfast). The RC seems more modern, the outdoor shower is amazing, its closer to airport, and transfer is less expensive. Thoughts? Other considerations?

Wow, this is beautiful! My wife and I just decided on the Maldives instead of Bora Bora next summer. It's going to be a toss up between the Ritz Carlton and the InterContinental, but RC us always the front runner.

Great video! How is the lagoon in this resort? Is it sandy or more rocky? I was just at the W and its great for those who enjoy snorkeling but if you just want to beach bum, theres only one small area where the beach had soft powdery sand, calm waves and minimal rocks/corals. Does the Ritz have a good beach/lagoon area? Thanks!!!!!

Hi Travis, great tour. I am trying to book it. Can you pls tell me what's the difference between Ocean Pool Villa and the Lagoon Pool Villa? I am trying to book one of those 45 in the oval shape, which one would that be? Also seaplane is $900 for this resort, while it's less for other resorts which are far away, do you know any reason for that? How can we choose the option of speedboat while booking it through Marriott site, any idea?

I’m surprised at this level of luxury they didn’t add in a hammock or a Kabana style lounge area you see at other luxury Maldives resorts. For that I’d say it’s a 8.5/9 out of 10 for me. Thank you for the awesome video 👌🏽
